I love riding in mud because I have accepted the fact that I am gonna crash . Last trip to the EC bash I went down 5 times in the mud but always had a buddy with to help pick up the bike . I won't go riding in big mud by myself on a heavy bike . Gets the heart rate going .
I just cut a piece of aluminium about 40x5x3mm thick and placed it vertically between the shield and cylinder across the window and haven't had any issues .
Looks like the cnr of Atlas and North Rand road in Boksburg is starting to become the motorcycle place to go to on a Saturday morning. ROOST KTM is opposite Gas Monkey with Harley Davidson 200m away and another big bike shop across the road . All we need is a decent aftermarket motorcycle...
Recently done the EC bash and added close to 4000km so my bike has just been serviced and I have done the headset, swing arm,and wheel bearings, fork seals, chain and sprockets were done 4500km ago .
Just watched that video and it doesn't look like much but incidents like that is why I ride with hard body armour. So easy for us toppies to get hurt .
The best bash of the year . Even if you ride tar all the way you will still get to ride the last few km on gravel . It's very safe and has fantastic caterers so pay up and come . We need another 50 members at least.
I thought that as you get older you crash less but in my case nothing has changed . Gone down about 20 times in the last 5 years but just keep on getting back on . It's only got harder to pick the bike up . So no I think that I still ride kak .
Hi there africana what sort of fuel consumption are you getting when riding decently. Remember that air flow / air temp / O2 sensor all need to be connected and working or the ecu goes into closed loop and your bike will run but be heavy on fuel .
