Sorry D, I must disagree with your last comment, the SAS system is active after the explosion and has little to no effect on the backfiring. Just so by the by, the PC will stop the backfiring, there is too little duty cycle to the injectors for the amount of air that the motor is ingesting at 0%...

You could use a product called Pro-Struct 632, very good, been using it for around 20 yrs no come backs!!

Kat the PC has been fitted to another bike and not the one it was mapped for. Having a PC fitted and mapped will give you perfect AFR, call me to make arrangements for me to remap the bike.

I have'nt tried, seemed like too much of a job at the time.

It needs an ally spacer to hold it in place, the pump body is slightly shorter and the teabag can't be used.

Hey Grego, sorry about your damage. How sure are you about the ring end gap??? it should be .35mm on a 90mm bore....seems a lot like a ring end gap issue. The damage to the piston pin and rod is also due to a seriously overheated piston... Is the damage more on the exhaust?? or on the intake??

You don't need the R800.00 tool, take a piece of flat bar drill the hole to the bolt size, put the bolt through the hole in the flat bar with the rivnut on the other side, insert into rivnut hole and tighten to expand as needed.

Pilot jet, pilot air corrector, pilot jet passage, including air screw passage...clean with compression stabilizer. :thumleft:
