There are some nice 800gs adventures around for that price. Fully loaded with panniers etc. But if you are not keen on the Triumph offering, the 800 may not be your cuppa either. I am biased when it comes to the 800 range.

Well, if the throttle is completely closed, no air will be let into the system to help with combustion. so It may be a small adjustment ( like setting the Idle screw on a carb)

Sounds like fuel starvation. However, the fact that it starts afterwards and runs, may point to something else. Perhaps TPS?

Thanks, it’s the best colour. My previous bike, I put 100k kms of which less than 10k kms was used for leisure. My plan with this bike was to use it for what it was intended for. Concerted efforts going into planning and doing trips ( even unplanned ones)
