Kwassi, the design looks nice, but you might want them to make a mock-up of one for you first to try it out.  If the drawing is to scale, I suspect the bigfoot will catch on the frame when the sidestand is put up. It might also touch the frame and cause rubbing.  ???  This is pure speculation...

Knor, I can see how you mounted the bottom part of the tooltube using the pipe clamp, but can't see from the photo how you fasten the top part.  I am guessing you are using the other half of the clamp? Also, does it not stick out quite a bit? I like the idea, how much do you charge for labour? ...

I'm siding with 2SD on this one. I can't figure out how a locked rear wheel for an extended period would give you more control of the bike on any descent, no matter how steep.  ??? That said, I am a firm believer of you do what works for you. If you like running down a steep hill with the back...
