Swapped my GSA for Elsie last week and have 500 odd km on the clock now. Elsie came with ContiTrailAttack 2 tyres fitted... and even though I have never been a Conti fan, I must say that this set of rubbers are not half bad. Good grip in the dry and in the Cape stormy wet... I have tried...

I last topped up the oil on 25,000km and the low oil warning was on by 29,000km so it couldn't be because of the last service before that (20,000km)?

Ek dra die W2 boots...  hulle is vol boots, maar het vibram sole (selfde as Merrell skoene) en is baie gemaklik.  Hulle is stewig maar nie so swaar soos baie ander boots nie... Beste is maar om by 'n bike shop uit te kom en alle boots aan te pas tot jy iets kry wat jy van hou.

Mine has used 500 - 700ml every 5,000km since new (2012 model)... and I have done just over 30,000km on it. It seems the harder you ride it, the more the oil disappears  >:D

I fully agree... The problem I have is that both bikes speak to me albeit in different languages  ;D

It looked like he killed the bike himself, from the way he was trying to wring the throttle off the handlebar just before the bike blew up  :o  :o  :o Hy het daai ding se nek behoorlik omgedraai!
