Many thanks - This gives a good idea. My flat section of my trailer is 1.2x2.4m inside the wheel arches, nut I would add around 75-100mm "overhang" each side to accommodate a series of jack mounting points to lift the body off of the trailer for storage etc... The plyboard - normal weatherproof...

@Lars - maybe swap out those M8 Bolts for Domed Cap Screws - less sharp edges for your bag - available from a decent Nut & Bolt suppliers - just a thought..... I do like the small tail rack too - very fitting design - and they look plenty strong!
