Thanks Dookie. They grey one is by a guy that just buys and sell stuff and the yellow one is in Bloem which is a bit far away. Closest proper one here at moment is in Bikeshop Rivonia. Good condition, but high milage. Then there is also a Burgman 400 but with 42k which is around the milage...

From my search for a quiet helmet, if i remember correctly, in terms of DB level all helmets exceed the noise threshold that damage hearing, so wearing earplugs is required if you want to protect your hearing.

Must be over 300cc and may not be Chinese. If anyone has one they wish to sell, get in touch. My budget depends on the bike, its condition, and if i think it is a good price. But not one of those R100k scooters. Something between R25 and R55k

You may even be able to get this from Yamaha itself very easily.....price dependant off course. When i was rebuilding my RD 350 i was amazed to find they had the powervalves still available.

Yoh.....nog nooit n friksie plaat gesien wat so lyk nie. Neem aan dit is net die een. Terwyl jy daar is merk die primary nut sodat jy maklik kan sien dat hy nie beweeg nie. Sien die clutch basket nut is klaar so gemerk. Mens kan die basket fingers ook liggies vyl as hulle die plate laat hak...

Just want to bend pipe into some basic racks for the DR. Nothing fancy because the bike aint fancy. If someone in Pretoria with a bender and a bit of spare time who can help, please let me know. Alternatively, if anyone has a old second hand set lying around for sale, i would be interested...

Niemand staan eintlik vir my uit nie.....miskien tog Bikeshop Boksburg, maar dit was meer met sales. Weet nie...

F650 GS's in decent condition are normally overpriced.

Well known issue of "clutch chudder" on the 1000. See Greywolf's posts - https://www.stromtrooper.com/threads/clutch-chudder.344009/ Does not affect the 650.

If not applied correctly (thinly) the stuff can land in cavities, passages, etc. Sometimes something will not seal unless the gasket maker is amply applied, leading to the above. I am happy to use both together.
