    Tubeless puncture repairs

I think the wise carry spares. One has to be self supporting without that there is no confidence in a situation unless there is ignorance. Running tubeless has its positives, not having spare tubes and tools is not one of them.

    Tubeless puncture repairs

Tyres do not pop of the bead just sommer. On a tubeless rim it takes a fair amount of lateral force. Even on a tube rim this does not happen easy and is very unlikely to happen instantaneously catching a rider unawares unless there is a major instant fracture and lateral forces in place. There...

    Tubeless puncture repairs

Eish not cool! Makes sense and without looking at the tyre in question I can only go on what is said. Often failures are due to a number of things but building a true picture/report of what happened/cause requires all the proof/information. That I/we dont have so I have no choice but to express...

    Tubeless puncture repairs

Just a observation here. If the rider had a puncture and never died with the hole then how can the plug be the cause of his death assuming it came out creating the self same hole?

    Puch 50cc +/- 1962 Bit of a barn/garage find (need some parts)

If you look at the restored photo above carefully you will see the pedal on the side. The other side has one too, that is missing on my unrestored subject. IOW it is a "help my trap".

Caledons Poort river-hugging & Old Mill Drift Pass

Another two things related to this video. 1. It gives you no idea on how steep that road actually is. The perception is that its rocky yes, but it is STEEP guys and rocky you will be left thinking how much more can this road go up? Unrelenting 2. No offense to the rider but he got it mostly...

Caledons Poort river-hugging & Old Mill Drift Pass

Thats him or her (*****). Its is or was much worse the last time I went up. The first time (on my SE) it was like the video. Had a slight chuckle at just after 3 min in when he stops and he is out of breath. And thats on a Plastic! I will admit though going up the sheer power pulled me through...

My Mom at 18 was threatened with one of those but chose rather to walk. Thanks for the positive input Are you willing to get rid of that "Scrap" by any chance? It would be quite cool to show her and threaten my kids with it!  :imaposer:

    Puch 50cc +/- 1962 Bit of a barn/garage find (need some parts)

Yeah pretty much the same as my XT600 restoration. Finished it, started it, rode it and then parked it under a white sheet in the garage where it will stay for the next generation or until I get a urge again, the five years I put into that bike does not warrant me destroying it again. So fully...

What it will look like when I am done. At this point I have spark and the motor is loose. So the war is half won.

    Puch 50cc +/- 1962 Bit of a barn/garage find (need some parts)

Night before the PE2Plett race I spent the night @ my riding partners inlaws. Walking around his garden I saw a small wheel tucked away at the back of a garage attached to obviously a small motorbike. I asked about it and was told its a "Puch" a unstarted project. Then He asked to you want it...

Caledons Poort river-hugging & Old Mill Drift Pass

Mill route there is times to rest. Rear entry you mostly rest when you fall down  its a lot steeper in most sections and longer. Fun to say the least. Did both with my SE admittedly though the Mill route was in better condition. Rear entry on the other had on the down hill chugging in...

Thank you for the RR. Looks a "bit" worse than the last I went up there. The urge to redo might just be coming back. By the looks of it, it is now on par with "Rear Entry" to Baviaans. Also another radical ride that will leave you spent but happy (we hope).
