Yho, we had a student helper here assisting with parchments and the like a while back. She has a voice so shrill, birds explode in a kilometre radius. Anyway, she kept calling a colleague Tannie and every time (and that was often) said colleague called her she would reply JA TANNIE...

I am well aware (thanks to the other half that keeps reminding me) that I am old and wrinkled, BUT I still feel like I am in my twenties and being called Tannie is like a dagger to my heart.
