While I don’t have much time during the week, I did replace a few bolts this morning. Looks much better without the rust!

Collected the newly blasted and coated subframe from Boetie @sandrot yesterday. Great service as expected. Ready for fitment once I sort the wiring for the two tailpieces.

I started cleaning the exhaust headers during the week but really committed to it over the past two days. It’s ready to go back on the bike. I’ve never used fibreglass wrap before and learnt a lot after redoing it about 5 times. My forearms are on fire but I’m satisfied with what I achieved this...

Worked on the exhaust today. Cleaned with steel brush, then scouring pads followed by 600/800/1200 grit wet sanding and managed to make one pass with metal polish when loadshedding arrived. For a moment I though I killed my 30 year old heavy duty drill 😉 I’m really happy with the progress.
