@Operator: What is the insurance requirement? My understanding was that the tyre rating must exceed the vehicle max speed. If that's the case they'll probably reject your claim even of you are standing still at the traffic light.

They look at the tyre rating and the bike's top speed. They'll use that to reject the claim.

From personal experience, nothing happens but it could. I would think the biggest risk is that insurance may not cover such accident.

It might but the interface changed to be more BMW and less Garmin. I just liked the original 660 interface.

I’m looking (not urgently) for a Garmin Zumo 660/BMW Navigator IV in working order. This will be integrated into a new dash/display on the XR and I like the simplicity of these units.

I did the same but always wanted the LED unit. I’ll test it soon enough. I also run a set of Desert Fox LED spots so I’m not too worried.

Me being me I just had to test the running light. I don’t like the yellow so connected the white. I’m keen to test it at night but it’s seriously bright.
