My clutch was the same. Fitted a new OEM cable and it’s sorted.

I ultimately bought the XR to tour the backroads and explore and while I spend many hours making small changes, some cosmetic, and keeping it clean, it’s meant to be used. This past weekend I took Blaf to the 10th Annual Thumper Bash and had loads of fun on the way.

In terms of the basic mods, have you ever put an XR on the Dyno after opening airbox, changing filter, desmogging, rejetting the carb and adding FMF silencer? That seems to be what everyone does before opening the engine and I was wondering what difference it actually makes.
