Buy a 4x4 and go on gravel trips to satisfy the urge for overlanding and riding gravel roads. Nice way to have the family involved as well. If you feel the need to still ride 2 wheels, take it offroad, and buy a plastic. Although that still has some risk.

Thanks, i will get in touch when i am back on Sunday. I see the whole actuating mechanism is missing from the handlebar switch, but should be able to make a plan to push and pull it manually. Just want to make sure the threads in the carb is still fine to accept the plunger screw-in.

And light, and if you want to, low too. The Sertao positively dwarfs it.

TTR 250 is another option. Sertao or older Dakar should not be an issue with your dimensions. Will get used to it pretty quickly and be throwing it around in no time.

@Psycho Porra too scared Runner asks me what **** i bought now again. But yes, i always tend to end up there and, to his credit, he always helps. But i must resist the temptation to beautify....been down that path too many times before.
