I came back that way about 2 months ago and there were no issues. We took the dirt route to Loskop and then tar back.

Definitely some of the most epic routes that I've seen of the TET so far, bucket list routes.

I absolutely love my 890, but the way that KTM has handled the cam issues is not confidence building.

To be honest I can't remember what weight oil they used, was 2 years ago, they did tell me at the time :ROFLMAO:

The other thing that I did was take the stock steering stabiliser to Conrad, they then upgraded the oil weight and that made a massive difference to the overall stability of the front end -especially between 100km/h to 120km/h on corrugations, etc..

My rear shock blew it's seals at 16,000km - a pretty common occurrence on the R models. @Roadhawg the 2 things that I did were to drop the forks to flush with the top triple clamp and setup my rear sag correctly, that sorted out the head shake. The bike is super stable at speed over...

I'm going with the Proudly Meerkat guys, will let you know what routes we did. I'll more than likely be the only KTM in a sea of GS's and their pillions, but goal is to experience Swaziland and then in the future plan a trip there on my own with some mates.

The Lone Rider review indicated that they winglets or ears as he referred to them are there to prevent the bike from flipping over fully, when dropped - shows you just how top heavy it is now :(
