I had exactly the same experience with Centurion Honda, they had zero interest in calling you back and that from the so called sales manager at the time - this was about 4 years ago.

That'll be a massive relief, knowing that we're covered. But more importantly it would be great to know what the actual cause is and that any repairs will address and resolve the weak point, thus ensuring there's won't be a reoccurrence in the future.

exactly, the only way is to let them feel our frustration, just look at how many members have said they won't touch a KTM.

I would tend to agree with you 100% - but nobody knows for sure and until KTM is more forthcoming, it shall remain a mystery :(

For now it is a relief, I doubt there will be any way to garner a response from KTM - their overall modus operandi is to say nothing, commit to nothing, admit nothing and leave it to the owners to figure out. Here's a ton of info on the valve clearances on these bikes...
