Hi All I recently bought a 1998 640 LC4 Adventure R (Austrian Import) with 26 000 km on the clock. She runs really well and is in damn good shape for a 17 year old bike but some TLC is needed. This is what it looked like the day I picked it up.

The Bajas were on special on Klim's website for 75 US $. Winning. Extra 11 dollars for postage to Atlanta. To SA its ridiculous - US $ 86 or something. AND then you normally get hit the same price as the value of the item in import duties. Probably still cheaper than buying here haha.

By all accounts the Klim Baja are even cooler / more ventilated. Just bought some online (last few pairs available) and I have a friend going to Atlanta next week who'll pick them up from his hotel. Winning!

1998 Model - Imported from Germany by the first owner. 26000km. Buying it on Monday - CANNOT WAIT! Looks exactly like this - still has the low stop light compared to later models.
