Make use of the express shipping option. Cost depends on parcel size. But when I ordered a tail tidy some time back, the cost of the part, with shipping and customs, was still cheaper than anything I could get locally.

Honda are embarrassingly bad with parts. I have an insurance claim for some bits, and was told they may arrive Dec, possibly even Jan. Try Biker Bits. I have ordered plenty from them, and recieved stuff about a week after placing the order...

What even is a motorcycle? Complete ***** from Cape Town

Sama tours in Cape Town have some CRF300s in their fleet, but as mentioned above there will be some requirements to rent them. Another idea maybe is to look at something like a XR150 second hand. Great to learn on and you won't really lose when you sell it on come time to upgrade

There is a known rattle on some 300s, Google 5k rattle. Mine has does it sometimes, seemly under load at around 5k rpm. There are a couple theories as to what it is, but nothing definitive it seems. Mine is on 16k km and still runs great other than that odd rattle ever so often

Ralley build ( life adventures )

Flying brick quoted me around 8k for the 15l (I don't want to go larger). They order them directly from Aus from what I understand. I want to place an order end of the month. Maybe if we order together, it could help on the shipping side? Let me know of you are keen

My sister was nice enough to have one of her friends bring this back from Aus for me. Just installed it today. Seems to be a great quality filter, and I love that it comes in a set of two main filters, and two pre-filters. https://www.uniflow.com.au/contents/en-us/p12774_AU4138KIT.html

    Plating a dirt bike: requirements?

He has the actual disc. I will ask, but I assume that when the bike was purchased new, the dealer registered it on the road without actually taking it for a road worthy.

    Plating a dirt bike: requirements?

Hey all I can't seem to find a straightforward list. I am looking at purchasing a mates WR450. Although he has never had it on the road, he bought it new, and from day one it has been "road worthy". He has been paying the license disc fee annually since day one. However, it does not have road...

    Wanted Looking for Honda C90

There is a complete one under a pile of stuff in observatory Cape Town, at a "antique" dealer. I will go past and get the name. I have asked before about buying it and got a stern no, but it's worth a try.

    Ouberg Pass condition

He mentioned Gannaga too, so would guess it's safe to say Ouberg heading down from Sutherland. Went up yesterday, two DS and two ADV bikes no problem other than one puncture. It is rocky and loose in places. At the bottom the is a huge washaway that almost took me out when I hit it at speed...
