Take a 12 spanner, cut off the open end and weld it to an old screwdriver. Works better than a bent spanner and saves a lot of frustration

Haha. Had the same happen twice before. The choke plunger off a KLR 250 works. R400-ish Or just cut the sleeve and leave a few cm to grip and pull the choke

It "should" start first swing of the motor every time, no matter if it's cold or not. In winter you may need some choke but only the first start in the morning. The rest of the day it should start without choke. Just leave the choke on till it can idle on it's own, then close it and only use...
