that is way too much money , there are plenty about for 45 to 50 grand, just google 1200 for sale, facebook is full of them, all the adventure sites etc. its a buyers market. there is a goodlooking 1200 on here, i think about 50k.

Lydon named all the bikes stan, so if the rider is from Durban its  Durban Stan etc. its very easy too follow all the races to places eco africa stuff on youtube.

you will destroy that bike trying to do long distance on it. you have to be realistic, the bike wasn't even designed for a cushdrive rear wheel, it would eat chains on a long road, not to mention the damage to the gearbox from the stresses placed on it. enjoy the bike for what it was designed...

so in the meantime i have sent away for paperwork via the SA in london, but appears it would actually be easier to get sorted from within south africa, its the letter of permission to have dual citizenship that is the biggest hurdle.but will update if and when i recieve docs from london.
