most obvious thing to do is refit the old battery,if that starts the bike then you know you have bought a dud, if it still doesnt turn over then you know the transition has caused an issue with the ecu, phone a ktm dealer and see if something needs to be reset with a battery change, some years...

i wouldnt buy it untill its been tried and tested,also not realy a collectors item if it doesnt have matching frame and engine numbers, so with that in mind why would you spend tons of money on a bike that going to be used like any other sunday ride ?.

i have never had issues with fitting dry clutch plates, however that was years ago before the world went all digital and stuff.have also seen many clutch repairs at mx tracks and trials meetings, all fitted dry.

never seen a pro rider or desert racer with straight legs or gripping with the knee`s, slightly bend your legs and let the bike float between them so you can easily flick the bike right and left with the bars or footpegs. works for the pros at erzberg, red bull romaniacs etc etc.
