Welkom Tjaart! Ek is ook maar nuut in adventure riding en glo daarin om naweek kursusse te doen. Ek het CountryTrax se Into, Intermediate en Sand ry gedoen. Dis kos 'n paar rand, maar dis oor en oor die moeite werd en baie pret.

@the_BOBNOB quite the contrary! Seems much more practical to have a spare paper filter on a multi-day ride, with a small amount of high temp grease to be able to keep the airbox clean, rather than trying to carry all the items to wash and re-oil a foam filter. The tests that were done in this...

Thanx @pietas . This community and other forums seems to be divided on the matter. I wish I kept my old paper filter so that I can see if it really turns to mush in water. Some recon it is easier to dry a "paper" filter that got wet than a foam filter! Has anyone tried a snorkel pre filter?
