The rear indicator mountings on the 300 are exceedingly crap in my opinion. Rigid indicators mounted on the plastic fender and easy to break off , usually taking a large chunk of plastic with it. I removed them and replaced with teardrop shaped flatmount LED indicators....cheap and reasonably...

Louis I got 28.9km/l on the Namakwa Eco trail with a fair bit of sand thrown in. 31km/l on open dirt road ( i don`t ride tar}...I imagine you could do a bit better with conservative riding.
