    Roof of Africa 2024

Thanks again Tman. I'll join that group and hopefully be more informed next year. Somehow glad that Wade has won again. I'm not in tune with who is hot or not but ever since he won as a teenager I have been rooting for him. Only Jarvis has beaten him as far as I know. Now just wish for some more...

    Roof of Africa 2024

That was helpfull. Thanks Tman! Every year it seems like a bit of a dogshow in terms of finding daily summaries or results. Pity as it is such an iconic event. Probably explains why there are so few international entries too. Good luck to all the guys out there!

    Roof of Africa 2024

:ROFLMAO: I see only the TT results. If you scratch around on the Roof website you find last years results. Would someone please hook me up with a WA group where there is real info. 🤞 Nul ag drie 262 0362

    KTM Trouble

This KTM thing is just business as usual....just a legal way of getting rid of stacks of people and shuffling a few things around to maximise profits.

Goeie keuse vintage adventure bike om te herbou vir toer.

How long is a piece of string? My choice would be a DR650. According to a friend every rallygoer knows that Suzuki engines cannot die.

AJP model PR7 - coming to SA

The few AJP PR7's that are here were brought in once off if my info is correct so not the same as Kove and also not produced in the same numbers. Having been up close to the AJP and the Kove 450 I think they are finished off similarly with the Kove perhaps slightly ahead. Antony of Dirtbike...

    Kove Adventure Bikes

Pity, but not surprising. I'll gladly carry on with my TTR250.

    Kove Adventure Bikes

5 to 10 years ago I would have saddled one of these China stallions one time...now I am limited to bikes under 300cc and under 125kg wet weight. Waiting for the Kove 300 enduro to show it's face. For now I just do window shopping and enjoy reading your reports. Braaap

I have a Clarke 5 gallon (19 litres) in red for you. It's never been used but has some marks on it and had no cap, brackets or fuel tap.

    Wanted KTM/Husqvarna Roadworthy kit

Good luck Adriaan. When I was getting my Husky 501 roadworthy many years ago I had no luck. I asked at a few dealers but nothing. I improvised the missing bits. Bike is long gone so I can't be of help now. I found it wierd as I was under the impression that every KTM/Husky came with the...

My Kove 450 Rally February 2024

@Welsh We did use WEG almost exclusively but our local prefered supplier (can also be read as biker buddy) went Actom but after those bearing failures I told him to keep then in future. The ABB motors were sealed much better compared to similarly priced IP66 motors. Will check out WEG again though.
