Rob, just came back from Namibia (Kaokoland and Damaraland) with my Kove. I'm slightly more on the wrong side of 100kg (115) and the bike can most certainly handle it.
Noted, but for my 5 cents worth, I just battle to find a fit for the 690/701. For adventure riding the tank is too small, for trail riding it has to compete with the 500, which is much lighter. It's not an enduro bike, too heavy.
