I think for a 640 you need a bracket around the steering neck as well as an adapter that fits on the upper tripple clamp. The damper is the cheap bit🤣

If the engine is that dirty inside, and you haven’t yet clean it, then there is also no oil in the head. That implies a lubrication failure of some kind. At least pull the oil pump and see why it stopped sending oil to the head. I don’t think I would split the cases if it was my bike

It was about R4k. You simply go to a KTM or Husky dealer and order it. It is Husky specific, so they’ll order from your model specs. I used Orange County KTM in Bloem for that specific one.

Jip, KTM now has top-end in a box kits. Everything to do a 125 is around R1800. One stop shopping. I will still work on Yamahas and Hondas (but only for sentimental reasons). I just had to replace my CRF450X starter. R13k OEM. Bronco R7k. KTM starters are around R1300

As a mechanic that needs to put petrol in his wife’s FJ Cruiser, 250 4 stroke. If it was my own money, a 125. And definately not a Jap one, only a KTM. Parts are just so much cheaper, and its actually available.

As somebody who has a bike workshop, I would caution against splitting your time and diluting your effort. I think the side gig thing has come and gone. My suggestion will be to focus all your energy on one job, even if that means a new job. Only if the primary job brings home the bacon and you...
