A friend of mine's new 800 had the same clutch-slipping in Lesotho. Personally I haven't had any issues.

I did a quick tar only trip last weekend on the 800 (400km per day) and have no issues with the seat. Maybe I'm used to it by now. Or maybe averaging 160 lets you forget about the seat >:D Personally I've done some technical routes that I wouldn't attempt on a 1200, and not even on my old...

Some guys swear by ABS, personally in four years of bike ABS it's just been a mission stopping and disabling it every time. Next bike – no ABS thank you.
