A lovely bit of kit. When I’ve used mine on hot days , I just wear an Mx shirt over. That works pretty well. When it’s cold I use a jacket over, with a fleece- comfy and snug. If your touring jacket has a built in back pad, you may need to remove it, else the neckbrace gets uncomfortable...

Hello Dogs, I have a gap to go for a burn next week and looking at the map, the Richters veld looks like a bucket list item, that may just be within reach. I am working on some old info... that there may be fuel in Eksteenfontein, anyone with recent knowledge? Also, I am presuming that bikes...

All it basically boils down to is that the 80kg ou on his 1290, has way more power at his disposal, when measured relative to his weight, the bikes weight, or his aunties weight. But he is going to bak much more than a 100kg ou riding a XRR in summer through the Namaqualand park.

What makes them special... Power to weight ratio equivalent to HP2. Slightly better than a Husky 701! around 130kg, plus rider fuel and kit. That is about 250kg all in ready to travel with 20kg kit, 20l fuel and 80kg rider. as you know, every pocket of cement matters when you're out there...
