Jy't nie veel aftermarket stuff nodig nie. Ek toer met 'n 300 Vstrom en ek het basies net twee 15mm pype geinstalleer om die bagasie uit die agterwiel te hou. Self gemaak. Verder 'n topcase en handbeskermers. Dis dit. Het nou net teruggekom van 'n 5,000km trip op grondpaaie.

I took my 250 VStrom for a 5,000km-on-dirt, 3 week solo spin recently. (I rode from Pretoria to Knysna and back on dirt.) Mostly goodish roads but some challenging stuff along the way like the Baviaans. One of the passes was a bit of a challenge but one water crossing was a downright nightmare...

What I found was that OSMAnd does not do a great job of finding a route, therefore I plan my routes and then load them. I'll have a look at the other apps that maybe do a better job. But OSMAnd is great at following a gpx route.

When sitting up/editing a profile, go to Navigation Settings and then select Route Parameters. There you'll find the Prefer option.
