On your list, I would suggest a DR650 and add a XT600E (if you can find one). These 650 are old school and can be fixed with limited tools and knowledge.

You would need to buy two - if I recall the 300 takes 1.6L of oil - what does the manual say? Seems the manual is happy with 1,45l. Keep the other 500ml for the next service.

You should be good with an oil and oil filter change only. You can get everything you need from Tracmac and they will ship. Personally, I would go with Motul 5100 10W30.
