The problem with those racks are the piece that is suppose to support the nr plate bracket. They all fail after a while. Friend of mines cracked exactly at the same spot because of those racks. I had the rockfox racks that just go underneath the tail plate. 60k hard mileage and never had that...

Also have the 396 and cannot fault it. compact and packed full of tech. has not let me down yet. Awesome that you can connect your phone and headset to it. great little gps.

You seem Pretty sorted with the extras. Consider the rapid bike module. It makes a huge difference to bike performance. Also considering the camel screen brace but seems easy enough tp try and faricated something. No one in SA has stock currently. I have my gps on the sreen crossbar although...

Eina... :eek7: I guess it all depend on how you ride too. Tube less works great with repairing the tyres with plugs. Down side is you cant run much deflated pressures below 2 bar if you are riding hard. You'll have a square rim shortly after. I'll see how it goes with the tubes before one take...
