thanks but would rather have Japanese. the parts availability and standards of Chinese make me nervous.

ideally a japanese bike brand. not looking to spend too much..I mean who really ever wants to ? it is just for a project for the kids on a farm...so no epic journeys or road worthy or registration needs.

were would the best place be to source a 4 stroke complete engine in the 200-300cc range. not new but mechanically sound ? I imagine somebody has contacts for this. I have a project  that needs a complete engine. any ideas guys ? please
