any dogs out there know much about the yamaha TTR 600. I have been offered one but do not know the bike model. it is a 2005 model and the seller says it is clean and on the road. is it a model that was popular in SA ? is it a parallel to the xt 600 Z or is it something totally different...

yes, managed to get lucky in life and so live here and when on holiday spend time in the mountains around montagu. wife needs a scoot that will not scare her. thanks for the help. I have a quote for a new one for 15400 in worcester but why buy new if there is a good deal on a clean second hand.

Linhai is now 21% yamaha.....so cannot be that bad if the japanese feel confident enough in investing in it. let us know how it works for you ! I too considered one but was scared away by the negativity regarding the chineese brands.

just to confuse the topic...what about a Honda ctx 200 ? see there are some agents selling old stock for 26k brand new. arguably one of the better farm bikes out there. At that price it is a bargin worth mentioning.

there have been 3 hens teeth in the last month and I bloody farted around and missed them...but my loss is somebodies gain ! So good for them. I have one already and they are fun little machines with hearts of lions ( albeit a little lion)

I seem to be too slow in the draw...each time there is a xr 125 I miss it... I think that makes 3 I have snoozed and loosed. I need one for the missus and kids. Clean and not too many miles please. in the 10k range. Ideally in the cape area but not obligatory. have a order on a new one but can...
