Agree with Kamanya...if you used the wrong oil weight, odds are, you made a few other mistakes as well. Fork rebuilds are easy but that can make one overlook certain key things....its counterintuitive to fill based on height inside the stanchion, until you realise how much oil gets held up...

I would recommend remaking that heat shield, would be less work than trying to salvage that from its deep gouges

@ LX, that seat looks great. Question: Did that start out as a normal std seat and was reprofiled and recovered by Dion, or was it already that profile and he recovered it?
