My African Dream - reporting from Haiti

Quite cool, I took this years ago in Kasane. Little did I know I'd be moving from the Caravan and Kodiak to the jet.

My African Dream - reporting from Haiti

Life has slowed down to Mach 1. Mostly. Wow, the first few weeks online at the new job were a blur. I'm still not quite sure how I got through the first day: By the time we had come back from 4 sectors, about 4.5hrs flying, my mind was still getting into my car at home. It was absolute chaos...

Places to stay in Biskop/Sabie/Hazyview area

I stayed at The Woodsman in Sabie earlier this year. Affordable, nice room, welcoming great breakfast. Head to the Sabie Brewing Co for delicious food an insanely affordable beer (don't buy the Sabie beer from the Woodsman, they charge over double).

I see I missed a few replies here Thanks, folks! It's amazing the support I have received from the WD family over the years. It has been a long 3 days, with about 18hrs flown. I'm loving it! Here are a few photos. Joburg to Kasane. First time in Kasane in over 5 years. It felt like coming...

My African Dream - reporting from Haiti

Thank you to those who have supported me over the years. Most of you I have never even met, yet I've received direct messages of support and encouragement. And to those who have nudged me to give updates when it has been a while, I thank you. I used to think time flew by, but the last three...

My African Dream - reporting from Haiti

Hallo, We have upwards of 50 destinations, and are still expanding. Depending on pax loads, I could theoretically get rostered to fly to all but one of our current destinations - St. Helena. That is reserved for the E-JET, and a specifically-trained set of crew. So to answer, I'll be doing both...

My African Dream - reporting from Haiti

Tell me you're not in your 20ies anymore, without telling me you're not in your 20ies anymore. I had two weeks of only getting home between midnight and 2am. I am absolutely finished. I wish I was out partying. Though I shudder to think how much recovery I would have needed then! But... The...

Life in America - We made the move.

Wow, that is ridiculous. And I thought Safair adding on a few R's for sms notifications was sneaky.

My reply never went through yesterday. I read the article. That type of sensationalist reporting really makes me sick. Fully support your rant, @Airguitar

My African Dream - reporting from Haiti

I went to Monster Jam last night. Really cool, something different. What is even cooler is that I planned to go to the event over a month in advance! After living pretty much day to day, it was quite a foreign feeling to be able to plan in advance. I'm certainly not complaining! More news...

A Strong Back: The Adventures of Tom Mc Sherry

Have you tried Snapseed? They're web and cell-based, but the mobile version seems loads better. I love it.
