    Conditions for Biedouw, Wupperthal, Eselbank

The "new" pont looks a lot more stable that the time that I used it. I think that the pontoons were underneath back then........kakked bricks that it was going to flip over. The only "downside" of getting out of the valley for me was the number of gates that had to be opened and shut in high...

    CBR 600 F2

Somehow just doesn't seem to evoke the same feelings of accomplishment that it did in years past.

Where my biking started - race rep 400's - the GSXR and a shed ... now VFR

Your patience and diligence with masking puts me to shame. That looks very neat.

    CBR 600 F2

Actually doesn't look too bad. From the original description, I thought that it would look like a total basket case. Unless Subie has applied a ton of elbow grease in the interim....?!

    TE610 carb assistance required

Ah - then def try Sidetrack's suggestion (you can also use toothpaste on a earbud to polish the seat- it's very fine). He's the man that had the patience to unblock pilot jets........so has clearly been through carb battles over the years. I thought that it was the main jet needle that you were...

    TE610 carb assistance required

Is it the needle and seat (for the main jet), or the float valve and seat?

Try https://motocomp-online.com/ or I see that you're quite a way away, but maybe also try Donald Craig at Craigs in Maitland - he's pretty clued up on this stuff and sources. 021 511 1916

    XT660Z Front Sprocket

Ja - good way to check. I put one on my XRV the wrong way around. It looked like it was supposed to fit the way I did it........but I was wrong. Almost stuffed up the countershaft splines, and the chain cut through the swingarm protector / slider in short order. Would have noticed if I'd...

Just died and went to heaven

the RZ seems to have had an R6 upgrade (suspension and wheels) - although with the size of that back tyre, could well have been an R1. An acquaintance of mine here in CT has one with the R6 conversion and JL pipes.

Looking for a low-cost, quality, small motorcycle trip tent.

I've used this for about 17 years.....they started off at about R299 back then. On my second one. Good value for money. Don't complain if you get wet in the rain........although I did a hike in the kruger during which it poured for 2 nights, and the tent didn't leak...

    LED flickers conversion

I posted this in the KTM990 thread - the same applies to your KLR. About 1/2 way down the thread https://wilddog.net.za/threads/990-led-indicators.271421/

The Old School XRV750 Africa Twin Corner

With all of that oily skunge on the carbs.......check the bottom of the airbox. There is a little "box" into which the crankcase blow-by drains. There should be a thickish plastic pipe attached to it - that's where the airbox drains. The pipe should be there - at the end of the pipe near the...
