Who here also has a SCOOTER.

Hmmmm, that wasn't as fun as I'd been led to believe. Don't get me wrong, locking up the back wheel is fun, but I'm too tall for the scooter. I had a sore bum after 6 k's because of that ridge in the seat. Want my 1150 back :(

    What boots for daily commute?

I rate boots as mega important. One's ankle is so delicate. I had an off a  month ago, minor at 10km/h and the bike landed on my foot and I was completely trapped. Ankle fine ,and that is with Santiago's, but next pair will be up a level.

    front fork seal blown

Thanks for replies, - will try the cleaning. It was very sudden, fine yesterday and loads of oil today. Makes sense it could be something that's just lifted it a bit...... if cleaning doesn't solve the problem, and I get it fixed, is it worth doing the other at the same time?

    front fork seal blown

I am assuming, seeing as the chrome stanchion above the dust seal is wet with oil and there are oil splotches on the front mudguard and frame. Is it a big job to repair? Can I commute for 2 days (30km/day) until I can get it repaired? Thanks
