I don't have a pic, but mine is on 51000 km. 2007 model. Bought it a year ago on 37 000 km. The previous owner dropped it, so the 2 tank covers are different, and it has aftermarket bars on. But it still goes strong.

there is a guy in durbanville. 2 led spots for 650 new, and another 300 for the 2 mounts.

Chat with the 2 guys at biker bros N1 city. They have a very nice mondial there, 310 cc and low enough. they also carry the zonte range but have other bikes as well.

The lady who owns barker used to work at Scorch Berserker also in brackenfell.

Found a guy in Brackenfell that makes nice pipes. brand new and fitted stainless for 1650.

I am thinking of selling my 2007 dakar. 50 000 km. bmw tank bag and spare keys, amber head light and anti vibrate mirrors.  Not original bars, and Neutral light is dead. Front tire is about 3000 km old. Rear has a few 1000 to go. What would you consider to be a fair price?

Would not mind selling my gs dakar for this. unfortunately you are just to far.

I have one, but there is nothing else in the price range that I like. Out of interested what is the difference between a gs650 and a gs650 dakar?  (Mine is branded dakar)

off road is easy because you have the road to yourself and can play with angles. In peak traffic with cagers trying to kill you is a total different story! But I do agree with you. I am looking for something more road orientated, which is worth more or less the same as my gs.
