Thats standard, hence using the side of the boot instead of the toe section

Its about a 3 or 4mm gap I can take up on the ball link, to raise the toe piece

The 1150 shift lever isn't directly connected to the gear spline shaft. It has a ball link joint which is the limiting factor

I have maybe 3 or 4mm gap on the ball link which connects the shift lever to the gear shaft. I can reduce this and it might exponentially create a little more for the foot section to fit a boot in proper. Otherwise I must try the side of the boot lip for up shifting.
