A google search from a few sources says its 26kms long although I remember about 20 kms but never actually measured it, your son and mates have done extremely well riding it in an hour as I remember back in the day Daryl Curtis completed it in an hour and set the record at the time!

Yip I must agree with the comments above from Xpat and AfricaOffroad, I have ridden Baboons a few times over the years and the biggest bike was a 450 CRF as well as Roof `12 I think it was on KTM 200. Its about 20kms in total and not for Adv bikes IMO although a 650/690/701 could be wrestled up...

I decided to fit the Acerbis plastic long range tank both for the necessary range but also to have the far more robust tank
