    KTM 640 Adventure

Like the others say, not good for a long commute. I have fun on mine in the traffic to the office but that's less than 15km and no highway. I once rode her back from Durban in one day - I vibrated for weeks afterward :ROFLMAO: Supreme in the dirt though.

    New road riding courses

I can highly recommend both of these.  Even if you are an experienced rider and think you're quite a good rider, the theory with immediate application on the road hones your skills. Not only that but it's a fun learning experience. Sent from my LM-G810 using Tapatalk

    BMW GS Buyers Advice Needed

My first BMW was a standard '08 GS with ESA. Great bike and surprisingly capable off road. I then bought one of the first Triumph Explorers in 2012. These bikes had cast wheels and no ESA, manual adjustment only. Missed the ESA for a short while but once the suspension was sorted, didn't miss...

    [FOUND]: KTM 640 Adventure 2006/7

My 640 is a 2001 vintage and admittedly I don't do much mileage on her but have yet to experience these reliability issues.  I had issues with what KTM calls the starter bearing failing so had to use the stoopid left footed kick start until I fixed that.  On a long trip had the breather pop off...

    1200LC 2017 Prop shaft replacement

Sounds unlikely. The important thing for prop shafts is that the universal joint faces remain parallel, angle of the shaft not so much. More likely is the design problem on the LC that lets water in but not out causing corrosion of the prop shaft. Sent from my LM-G810 using Tapatalk

When it happens close to home you realize that the gear debate is over.

Glad he is ok. I had a very similar accident years ago and learnt 2 very good lessons. 1. ATGATT 2. You are pretty much invisible to most road users Sent from my LM-G810 using Tapatalk

Please help! 2006 Honda CBR 125R

Some good suggestions above. So difficult to diagnose over the internet! Check the easy stuff first.  Has it always done this since you've had it?  If not, what has changed? Going back to carb, and I'm not an expert but have fiddled with many Honda's carbs, it could be float level related, or...

Please help! 2006 Honda CBR 125R

What air filter are you running?  Is the air intake and air box standard? I'm guessing as I don't know, can't remember what carb the CBR runs but Hondas generally use the CV type carbs. These are sensitive to changing air pressure and don't like the air box being messed with and on some models...
