Xpat, will contact you soon, am planning a similar route through Bots end of December, so will appreciate any info that you might have gathered. Another good source of info is "Mother" on the forum, he lived there and am sure there is no track that he as not been on by bike or 4x4.

Tried this trip a few years ago, the bit that I could do close to the river was awesome. There are many private game farms that have swallowed up the road shown on the map.
