Hi BesterR I am also fairly new to the whole DS & Dirt Bike scene. There is place called Dirt & Dust just outside of Cape Town. I've only been there once, but it is a nice place to learn and get use to riding the bike in dirt. The place was fairly quite also. I have not yet been back there...

Most probably, but thinking of staying over somewhere on Thursday night, and then heading to Die Hel on Friday morning.

Uploaded maps (google maps, hope it works) of route I might take on the way to Oudtshoorn, anybody driven this recently? I just saw these routes, and thought why not drive it, so not really sure if it runs through any restricted areas or such.

I bought the bike 2nd hand, and would just take it in for a service to make sure all is good, after that I will most probably be doing it myself.
