Had a set of Becker and Hepco crash guards, the welding on the left one gave in where it attaches to the engine due to thumper vibration over the years. Removed them and actually now enjoy the weight saving so much I'm not gonna bother with replacement.

Had the same issue, replaced the taps and Bob's your uncle.
