Good logic  ;), KLR is more reliable over the long term from what I've heard. I am however struggling with the KLR in the dirt and am looking for something in the same weight class in my budget that's more dirt orientated.

I'm interested in changing over from my KLR (1st gen) to a KTM 640 Adventure that's a 2006/2007 model and well maintained and serviced. My budget is late 30k's.
