    Bike jacket with airbags???

Cool. Would the use of this jacket then afford you the same protection for your neck that you would get from a Leatt brace with the inflating collar?

    Bikers with DUH!! cager mentality

+1 Every day I overtake a couple of guys with faster bikes on the highway while riding an underpowered 125cc scooter and then I don't see them again. Experience is the only difference here.

    ..2008 xChallenge for R57k...

BMW Motorrad Boksburg has a 2008 xChallenge for R57k on their floor and the salesman said it only has between 200 and 300km on. Apparently it was supposed to be (or was for a short time) a BMW SA demo model and they got it from BMW SA for a discount. All the panels has some minor chips and...

How do you stop your visor from misting up in the rain?

That does work, forgot about it actually. Keeps your neck nice and toasty too. Must scratch in my closet for mine.

How does the BMW X-Country rate?

Well, not quite, although it can do road too. Plus, it can become a very capable long distance off-road tourer with the Touratech tank and the steel sub-frame replacement.

How do you stop your visor from misting up in the rain?

Drive with it open. It mists up due to condensation (cold outside, hot inside). Otherwise get anti-fog liquid from a dive shop. Not sure whether "Fog City" works or not.

    Taxi takes out 4 bikes

Ja, they all look the same to me too. Although most move out of the way. Never had any aggression from a taxi toward me while I'm on the scoot. While driving a car it's another story though.

    Let the verbal abuse begin....

You suck. That (with their pannier system) and the xChallenge Rally in my garage would be the perfect combination for me. The lines on that 'prilla is just pure art, everything is balanced and just plain perfect on both sides. And those exhausts are the best I've ever seen.

    Assault Rain Suit leaking

My frikken BMW RainPro2 suit leaked on the exact same spot and also on both my shoulder seams yesterday during the same storm. So, like Ganjora said even the most reputable rain suits won't keep you 100% dry all the time. BMW Motorrad's claim that "The ProRain 2 suit will keep you dry even in...

    Using your bike for........

I’ve been commuting for 3 years 9 months. I often get around to Pretoria and Roodepoort to visit people too. In this time I've never owned a bike with more than 15kW. Currently it's either my brother's 6.7kW Honda ANF125 Deputy, or my similarly powered Suzuki Raider 150 (the carburettor needs a...

    Which Loctite?

Very true. To give you an idea, I used red locktite to fix steel helicoils into an aluminium workpiece before milling the helicoils down to size.

The ability to scare him? Late model Honda CR500R ought to do the trick. Rip his arms off and hit him with the wet end.
