The rockell hardness checks are inconsistent. Some cams were adequately hardened and still had wear. Others were too low (of course also had wear). It is still a very big guessing game unfortunately.

Their cams seems to be made from the correct material. Don't think those engines are outsourced to China like the LC8C engines

Definitely makes sense. However people who've been religiously servicing/changing oil and oil filter every 5k km still had the cams fail. The material used for these cams would be better suited for bucket over shim type valve train. A stronger alloy steel needs to be used for the current setup

It is, however not stating the 890 and 901s having the issues is untruthful on their side. It definitely makes sense what you say, it would be best to test a whole bunch of cams in a controlled environment and not just one set. I will definitely see if they are willing to assist me in any way...
