Was looking at one for when I get a bike again to tour a bit and commuting duties. It will be a no brainer if I can just decide if I want to be bothered by needing to do off tar or not. I suspect i'll miss going off tar ..but the Tracer makes so much sense.

Well, it gives you more options. But i agree that a 19" is not bad with this bike, but then one could say why does the Tenere 700 not just have a 19"  I guess. It's the 21" and suspension  raises ground clearance and makes obstacles easier to roll over etc etc  which would make it less of a ...

yeah i wish manufactureres could look and do at least where it makes sense what he designs. I reckon the new Vstrom is just a new 1000cc with a 19" front. I mean it's good but nothing "groundbreakingly new" from Suzuki i think. They just play it safe.

Yup indeed! It's exponential on the CC's - 1200GS is like R360 000 here. But your 650's and under is slightly cheaper. What is nice is that your KTM 350's and so on is road legal here. Hence me lookign at lower CC's so if this Suziki is a 1000 or 1200 it will be prohibitively expensive I think...

That awful screen, the non fender...the low slung suspenders make it look seriously odd. I dunno why...and i get your argument but it really doesn't look the same to me. Yeah T7 with new seat is on the very short list when this happens. I was actually looking at the 700 Tracer as well. not...

I will never buy the Adventure cannot stand the look of it.  it would need to be the R for some reason it looks a LOT better. But they are expensive I think compared to what the Strom might be.

I did but somehow missed it...though he was currently thinking of a NC700 not that he currently has one  :biggrin: Anyway still stays...sell the 700x for the 750x ? abs. I even did some breakfast runs that 750x and it was more than fine.

Yeah NC750X is awesome for commuting. Enough power to be nice on the highway, nice and slim still nimble, good on fuel and has ABS. the frunk is epic. Missed that thing on every bike since. make sure you don't go for the 700. it's amazing what a difference that extra 50CC and slightly higher RPM...

That is very interesting. Could be to get some patents and stuff for Trails bikes...or maybe factory space etc. I don't see the Ducati thing happening though.

I liked the video felt a bit short. would have been nice to get a more in depth comparisons between the two bikes\. What feels similar what feels vastly different etc. But fun to watch as always.  :thumleft:

Any reviews on pillion ability? I guess another seat will be in order since a few commented that that seat is only comfortable to test on the showroom floor.
