I also pick up and store stuff, all kinds of stuff!! If it looks remotely reusable it goes into a shelf or somewhere. Saved a lot that way, and yes I have also helped others when they come looking foe a "small" piece of steel or wood or whatever.

Shit, all my recertification licenses have expired. But earthmoving licences do not expire in the SANDF, just lifting equipment. I also don't know the regulations that side wrt earthmoving operators, but I guess OHS will be all over your arse if you are not a certified operator. Enjoy!!
