Thanks for this.  My only problem is that my iphone (5 and 6) doesn't charge sufficiently when connected to the 1200 and will run out of battery juice when in any gps app.. Don't know how to fix this problem.

I commute daily with my 1200 GS and wind doesn't put me off at all, BUT a year ago I decided to ride to Caledon on a windy day (past an overturned truck or two) and will never be that stupid again.  The gusts were so bad that I was blown from the emergency lane, over 2 lanes into oncoming...

Also, the slickest part on tar is in the middle part of the lane, so keep either to the left or right part of the lane. Enjoy your trip!
