    Puch 50cc +/- 1962 Bit of a barn/garage find (need some parts)

Parts shouldn't be a problem. They sold millions of these things all around the world and continued with very few changes until the mid 80's I think. Lots of suppliers still offering brand new parts. I see you can even buy a 70cc big bore kit! Total overkill. What would you do with so much...

    Puch 50cc +/- 1962 Bit of a barn/garage find (need some parts)

Very nice. My dad had a similar one when he was young. When I was growing up it was still lying in the cellar of my grandparents house. When they died 20 odd years ago, my dad tried to give it away but had no takers. Even the local motor musuem was not interested. I think it was eventually...

    The Suzuki DR350 Thread

I noticed some of the talk regarding carbs. Just to confirm. The DR750 uses the same carbs. The DR500 does not. BMW F650 Funduro also uses a pair of Mikuni BST33's. So does the GS500. I have a pair of carbs from a 750 if anybody is interested.

You are correct. We left from PE, over the Zuurberg pass to Anns Villa. Next day Alicedale, Riebeeck East, Bedford and up into the Winterberg. Stunning scenery and fantastic roads..

    Ann's Villa to Winterberg

Well actually PE to Winterberg. We went via Nanaga and then through Addo park towards Addo. Saw plenty of Elephants and other game right next to the road. I was filming with my cell phone which involved lots of switching on and off and therefore missed most of the good stuff. from Addo over the...

    F650GS Dakar (sold)

Thanks guys. They are great bikes. We have another two in the family. I dont think I've ever seen a Dakar for sale at this price with anywhere near the kms this bike has on it. Will be a great buy for someone. Not the best time to be selling a bike but that's the reason for the price. I've...

    Bike to rent in PE?

This is probably not the correct place to post this but I thought this may appeal to someone who has a bike for sale or is considering selling their bike. An easy way of getting an extra few grand out of the deal. A very long shot I know, but maybe worth a try. Do any of the PE dogs have a bike...

    Bike Rental PE?

This is a very long shot I know, but do any of the PE dogs have a bike that they would be willing to rent for a trip from PE to Hogsback. 3 days and no more than 250km a day. I have a friend who would like to fly in and join us for the trip but no one in PE does rentals. He is an experienced...

    DR BIG Resurrection

Wow! Awesome to see someone doing such a thorough job on one of these fantastic bikes! I did mine a few years ago now, although I didn't go anywhere near the depth mechanically that you are. Mine was in reasonably good mechanical condition. Although I have since spent quite a bit of time on the...
